2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them before ordering. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Your order
After you order, we email you an acknowledgement. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price was shown in error; if so we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. UK delivery is free. Payment is taken in full when you order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Dispatch and delivery times are on our Shipping & Payment page and are estimates. The goods are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Your right to cancel (consumers)
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. Email info@mytanlondon.co.uk with your order number. You then have 14 more days to send the goods back to our trading address. We will refund the price and the original delivery charge (if any) within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or proof you sent them. You pay the cost of returning them.
For hygiene reasons, spray tan solution and barrier cream cannot be returned under this right once the seal is broken. We may reduce a refund if goods have been handled more than necessary to inspect them.
7. Faulty or damaged goods
If an item arrives damaged, leaking or faulty, please email info@mytanlondon.co.uk with photos as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, so we can claim from the courier. We will replace it or refund you, including return postage. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply: you can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days, and claim a repair or replacement after that.
Machines carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Faults caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorised repairs or normal wear and tear are not covered.
8. Using the products
Our solutions and equipment are for professional spray tanning. Always do a patch test on each client 24 hours before the first tan, and follow the instructions supplied. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. We are not responsible for reactions where a patch test was not carried out or the instructions were not followed.
9. Trade customers
If you buy for a business, sections 6 and 7 (consumer rights) do not apply, but we will still replace goods that arrive damaged or faulty if you tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Our liability to business customers is limited to the price of the goods ordered, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or other indirect loss.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption or severe weather. We will tell you and keep the delay to a minimum.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images and the My Tan London name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
