Which strength should I choose?
- 8%: light, natural glow for fair skin
- 10%: medium, sun-kissed finish for medium to olive skin
- 12%: darker holiday tan
- 14%: deep tan for olive to darker skin
- 16%: our darkest, for deep skin tones and competitions
- Rapid Tan: one shade for everyone; the client rinses after 2 hours for light, 4 for medium or 6 for dark
Coconut or unscented?
Tropical Coconut has a light coconut scent. Unscented is fragrance-free, good for sensitive clients or anyone who prefers no smell. Both are the same professional formula.
Which machines does it work with?
All HVLP spray tan machines and all airbrush tanning systems.
How many tans do I get from a litre?
Around 40 to 50ml per tan with an HVLP machine and about 30ml with airbrush, so at least 20 tans per litre, and up to 30 with airbrush.
How should clients prepare?
Exfoliate the day before. On the day, shower but skip moisturiser, deodorant and oils. Wear loose, dark clothing after the tan.
How long should the tan develop?
At least 8 hours, or overnight for the deepest colour. Rapid Tan is rinsed after 2 to 6 hours depending on the depth wanted.
How long does it last?
6 to 10 days. Avoid pools, saunas and steam rooms, use oil-free moisturiser, and pat skin dry after showering.
Is it safe and ethical?
Our solutions are 100% paraben-free, vegan and cruelty-free, and made in the UK with premium-grade DHA.
Can I mix strengths in a bundle?
Yes. The 2 litre and 3 litre deals let you choose any strength or scent for each bottle.
Do you sell smaller bottles?
Yes, 250ml bottles in 8%, 10% and 12% Coconut, enough for about 6 tans. Email info@mytanlondon.co.uk if you’d like Rapid Tan, 14% or 16% in 250ml.
How fast is delivery?
Delivery is free in the UK. Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Thursday go out the same day; see Shipping & Payment.
